XVIII<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Marmo, bronzo, smalto; movimento tipo Courvoisier.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Galleria Spada<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>La pendola a portico in marmo bianco e bronzo dorato con figura della dea Minerva fu acquistata nel 1793 dal principe Giuseppe Spada direttamente dall\u2019orologiaio Raffaele Fiorelli, cui si devono importanti orologi monumentali romani, come quello sulla Torre del Campidoglio e quelli realizzati per San Pietro in Vaticano. L\u2019intervento, eseguito da un espertissimo restauratore di meccanismi antichi, ha rifunzionalizzato la pendola, la cui suoneria \u00e8 predisposta per suonare \u201call\u2019italiana\u201d, ovvero scandendo le battute delle ore di sei in sei. Originariamente l\u2019orologio era predisposto a liberare, allo scoccare di ogni ora, l\u2019organo a canne posto all&#8217;interno della base in legno e bronzo su cui poggia l&#8217;orologio
