Come il suo <em>pendant<\/em>, presentava una generale opacizzazione ai limiti dell\u2019illegibilit\u00e0 dovuta all&#8217;alterazione delle vernici protettive stese a pi\u00f9 riprese nel corso del tempo.<\/p><p>Le due tele, racchiuse in cornici intagliate e dorate di altissima manifattura barocca romana, sono state pienamente recuperate, evidenziando colori chiari e brillanti nel cielo, ancora solcato dai fumi della battaglia, e moltissimi particolari sinora illegibili. L\u2019intervento sulle cornici, limitato ad operazioni sanitarie e di semplice pulitura, ha scoperto una foglia d\u2019oro ricca, spessa e ben conservata, con effetti di straordinaria
